The results of 2009 were summed up and the national anti-crisis program was approved at the Board meeting of Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Representatives of UUL Association took part in the meeting on the invitation of UUIB’s executives.
Anatoliy Kinakh, president of UUIB said in his report that economy of the country was in a very difficult situation. In particular, the decline of real GDP equaled to 15,9%, decrease of industrial production in January–December amounts to 21,9%, the volume of investments into fixed assets diminished on 43,7%, export volume has gone down 43,4% in January–November 2009. One of the global problems for business was absence of access to credit resources.
Among the measures of anti-crisis program it was suggested to accept Tax code, reduce the amount of taxes, provide banks’ refunding
for economy crediting and measures in order to defend national producer.
UUIB plan for 2010 was also confirmed at the Board meeting. Some of its tasks are directed on further development of leasing market.
According to memorandum about cooperation, signed in 2009, UUL Association and UUIB will continue to work in this direction.
