UUL Association held a meeting of the legal committee, during which the representatives of companies-members discussed problems of the industry.
The agenda of the meeting was about new views of the State Tax Administration on some aspects of leasing operations, problems of interaction with the State Automobile Inspection (SAI) and exchange of experience in judicial practice.

Ukrainian Union of Lessors is a member of the European Federation Leaseurope and receives regular methodical assistance. One of the Federations' recent researches was devoted to the problems of fraud and abuse in various countries of the European leasing market.
The publication on this subject is entitled Fighting Fraud, and tells about the variety of fraud in leasing and renting, and the methods of its prevention, that can be useful to security services and risk managers of the companies.

State Committee for Financial Monitoring of Ukraine (SCFM) held a meeting with the Ukrainian Union of Lessors on July 13, 2010. The main purpose of the meeting was to exchange opinions on the draft law "On Prevention and Counteraction to Legalization (Laundering) of the Proceeds from Crime" and the form of cooperation for the preparation of regulations for the implementation of the mentioned law.

UUL Association conducted a meeting of the risk-management committee. Representatives of the Union discussed methods of operation with troubled clients.
In particular, they discussed issues concerning the work coordination on joint debtors, the criteria of "unreliable contractors", risk-management readiness to work with agricultural producers at harvest–2010 and others.

Its results testify that industry begins to show the first signs of economic recovery after crisis depression: fall of new business volumes slowed down, while the overall leasing portfolio increased.
