The results of 2009 were summed up and the national anti-crisis program was approved at the Board meeting of Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Representatives of UUL Association took part in the meeting on the invitation of UUIB’s executives.

According to the leasing market research, provided by the Union in cooperation with State Ńommission for regulation financial services markets of Ukraine, the market stabilizes and at the same time the some negative trends continue, which is related to the crisis state of the economy.

A new associated member - Benish GPS Ukraine was accepted into the Union. Benish GPS Ukraine will assist members of the Union by providing the most effective and cost-saving vehicle safety systems. A whole range or systems, including the satellite anti auto theft, GPS monitoring and management, personal monitoring and video-observation are offered by Benish GPS at the Ukrainian market.

The first meeting of risk-management committee was held at the Union of lessors, as representatives of ten Association members discussed working methods during the crisis. The agenda covered the issues of portfolio analysis, methods of restructuring debts, unreliable clients accounting, collecting etc.

As the participants of the press-conference declared, lessors have a lot of common problems with banks: bad debt, frauds, illegitimate court decisions, non-effective execution system, fake bankruptcies etc. This situation resulted in the necessity to unite efforts of banks and lessors with the aim of defending creditors and investors’ rights.
