Training
The objective of the training program is to transfer information and technical skills needed by both leasing companies and their clients to conduct efficient and profitable leasing operations. The training will be delivered via a series of seminars conducted by Project team staff. The Project’s initial baseline survey on the leasing sector will identify key areas where management capacity needs to be raised.
It is expected that the training team will conduct regular seminars through the life of the Project. The seminars will range in length from 1-3 days and target a variety of audiences such as leasing companies, banks, potential lessees, business development agencies, and government officials and will addresses issues such as pricing and business risks, asset/liability management, liquidity management, and interest rates. The ULDP Project will cooperate with consultants contracted to undertake the company-specific TA assignment to achieve maximum benefit for overall market development.
