Best managers of leasing market – 2009 are defined
UUL defined the brightest personalities of leasing market within last year. The first, second and third place were given, accordingly, to CEOs of «Raiffeisen Leasing Aval» (Peter Oberauer), «Euro Leasing» (Roman Ivanenko), «Lasca Leasing» (Tetyana Saus).
«Personality of the Year» rating was organized through leasing industry directors' polling. So, the leaders were defined by the participants themselves, who used such criteria as manager's activity in market development, professionalism, personal charisma, progress of manager's company.

Head of State Commission promised his support to leasing industry
Head of State Commission for regulation of financial services markets of Ukraine Victor Suslov supported leasing industry at the annual UUL Association general meeting, which was held yesterday in Hyatt Regency Hotel. Mr. Suslov pointed out that leasing market grows enormously and has a huge potential.
Taking into account that Association's companies represent 85 % of the market, Mr. Suslov expressed his readiness to consider the possibility of giving the Union the status of self-regulation organization.

Leasing market results
According to the leasing market research, provided by the Union in cooperation with State Сommission for regulation financial services markets of Ukraine, the market stabilizes and at the same time the some negative trends continue, which is related to the crisis state of the economy.
The total value of ongoing agreements at the end of the 3rd quarter of 2009 remained approximately at the same level compared to same period last year and equaled to almost UAH 30 b.

Another company joined the Union in 2009
A new associated member - Benish GPS Ukraine was accepted into the Union. Benish GPS Ukraine will assist members of the Union by providing the most effective and cost-saving vehicle safety systems.
A whole range or systems, including the satellite anti auto theft, GPS monitoring and management, personal monitoring and video-observation are offered by Benish GPS at the Ukrainian market
