Association of Lessors builds partnership relations in London
Association "Ukrainian Union of Lessors" signed the Agreement about partnership with the leading European edition in leasing issues - magazine "Leasing Life". From Ukrainian side the Agreement was signed by Association Executive Director Marina Murga, from the British side - by Brendan Malkin, the editor of "Leasing Life".
The aim of cooperation is to open new sources of information for Association members and to popularize European experience among Ukrainian leasing companies. Besides, the magazine will cover the events of Ukrainian market.
Members of Association of lessors are forming ethic standards of leasing market.
In the view of results of 2008 the general meeting of Association "Ukrainian Union of Lessors" approved the report, budget, plan for 2009 and Code of ethics. The Code will regulate relationship between Association members, partners, clients, state authority and the public.
Association members voluntarily pledged themselves to:

build partnership on the principles of equality, honesty and justice;

provide exchange of experience;

not to stimulate fluctuation of manpower in personal interests which will be harmful for other companies;

call to account in case of dishonest competition;

not to estimate colleagues’ activity in public etc.
Following the rules and requirements of Code of ethics is obligatory proviso for membership in Association for all companies-members and for each employee of these companies.
Breaking its norms is a reason for consideration at the meeting of ethic commission for assuming measures up to expulsion from the Union.
Besides, the participants of the meeting approved Statement about membership in Association Board and discussed some questions concerning Association development.
The meeting welcomed new members of Association Board – companies "ING Leasing" and "AIS Leasing".
